The relocation of key assembly workstations to RAWE Electronic's new Production Plant 3 in Weiler im Allgäu began back in June this year. With the new building, the company has expanded its production area by over 2,000 square metres. The good order situation required higher capacities.
So far this year, over 30 new jobs have been created. RAWE is thus also investing in the future of the site. The new production facility primarily assembles electronic systems and devices. In addition to various bonding processes and the potting of assemblies, end-of-line testing, packaging and direct shipping are also possible.
Further investments in machinery and electronics production are in the realization phase for this year. In September of this year, the fifth SMD assembly line went into operation. The favourable economic situation of a German construction machinery manufacturer and a major order from the household appliance industry made this possible. RAWE has been on a stable growth path for years. Most recently, annual turnover rose to 67.5 million euros. An increase of 22.5%.
The company is working at full capacity until well into 2024.
