RAWE remains shirt sponsor of FV Weiler

The company and the top-class soccer club in the West Allgäu region have signed a new five-year contract.   "It is well received that we are promoting the sport and Weiler," says RAWE Managing Director Markus Hertkorn, adding: "We are delighted that we can continue to do so."   

RAWE has been the FVW's shirt, perimeter board and stand sponsor for five years. For both sides, there was no question of continuing the collaboration. "It has proved its worth," says Chairman David Fink. Even after promotion, the club will continue to rely on sponsors from the region. "We want to keep the existing ones and deepen existing partnerships". From Markus Hertkorn’ point of view, both sides benefit from the collaboration. For example, the electronics specialist has already been able to offer footballers an apprenticeship or a job. On the other hand, marketing helps RAWE to recruit new employees. In the past, the FVW has also supported the company at major events: For example, the 50th anniversary of RAWE recently took place in the FVW's Oktoberfest tent. "The partnership has grown," describes the chairman of the sponsorship association Joachim Zwerger. Despite having the same sponsor, the jerseys for the new season look a little different than before. The reason: The companies of the Demmel Group, to which RAWE belongs, have a standardized new logo with the company's lettering. (pem)
